Richard Kasemsarnis a licensed practicing architect with over 20 years of experience. He began his career in Chicago at Hammond Beeby Rupert Ainge Architects and later worked at FitzGerald Associates. The experiences allowed him to develop his vocabulary in both classical and Modern architecture which he has applied to commercial, residential, and educational projects.

In addition to his practice, Richard is an instructor at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

Richard also a painter and has shown his work in galleries and studios in the Chicago area. His work is representational and incorporates landscape and figurative subjects.

Richard received his graduate degree in architecture from Yale University and his bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan, where he studied architecture and art.

Richard is NCARB certified and licensed architect in Illinois.
